INNOVATIVE PROJECTS
ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED
E-Mentoring
This project was materialized during 2006-7 by a consortium of local authorities, universities, consulting firms, and training centres, within the EQUAL program. Two of EURONET members participated in the project team as experts, working for the planning and pilot implementation of a distance system aiming to develop local initiatives in social and private entrepreneurship in small islands and remote areas. This distance system:
- supports existing or potential small businessmen/women regarding their ideas or needs
- provides them with knowledge and information in the thematic areas of business, society, and environment and connects them with consultants interested to collaborate through its distance procedures
