Community Consultation on environmental and social coherence issues
This project was carried out within 2008 in various areas of Attica region with the collaboration of Municipalities of Anixi and Agios Stefanos, the Community of Krioneri, the Communal Enterprise of Anixi and the Marathonios Developmental Agency SA of Eastern Attica province. It was funded by the Ministry of Employment and consisted of the following 4 actions:
- Consensus building for the protection of public and common used places
- Development of environmental empathy for the protection of natural wealth
- Confrontation of urbanization and introduction of new adjustments for traffic
- Exploration of women's role in local initiatives and decision making centres
Business Planning for Local Authorities
This project is about the introduction of an alternative and innovative methodology aiming to deal with the well known difficulties of the conventional business plans and their typical "solutions" to be implemented in local communities. It focuses on revealing and exploiting the 3fold: "collective intelligence - collective unconscious - administrative potential and maturity for change", which will enable local authorities to evolve through learning, organization, and participation. This project will be implemented in the Municipality of Anixi Attikis.
