THE NETWORK

The European Network of Experts and Technology brokers - EURONET is a non for profit, Non Governmental Development Organization, aiming to promote, transfer and implement know how, innovation and technology between Europe and the rest of the world.
It is a certified NGDO, registered to the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs; it is also a member of TII (European Association for Transfer of Technologies, Innovation and Industrial Information) and UNIDO Exchange (Business and Knowledge Network of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization).

EURONET has been set in Athens, Greece by independent consultants, engineers, financiers, IT experts, trainers, sociologists, lawyers etc, all with significant experience in managing and materializing national and international projects; they have occupied managerial positions in production and financial corporate environments.

It collaborates with a large group of associated enterprises, such as Business and IT Consulting Firms, Training Centers, Technical Companies, Medical Institutes, Trading Associations etc and is supported by Universities and Research Institutes.

In parallel, it seeks for the coordination with various African and European networks and other Non Governmental Organizations, in order to achieve a stable cooperation with the developing countries. Its business associates are leading firms dealing with clients in a wide variety of sectors ranging from the Public, Tourism and Health, to the Industrial, Constructions and Commercial sectors.

The Network is managed by a Board of Directors, which is audited by an Auditing Committee; a Board of Advisors, consisting of specialists in their fields, together with academic, political and diplomatic personalities and successful businessmen, has been established to assist its purposes. For each project undertaken, a representative steering committee is formed which consists of all the involved parties, whilst the quality of the deliverables is ensured and guaranteed by the staff of designated Universities and Institutes.
